Live Office Hours

Office hours are free, live Zoom sessions where we walk through the DNAGedcom Client together and answer your questions — whether you're stuck on your first gather or deep into a brick-wall hunt. Bring your questions; no preparation required.

How it works

  • Format: 45 minutes on Zoom — about 20 minutes of live demonstration on a real database, then open Q&A.
  • Registration: free, via the button above. Zoom sends you the join link and a reminder before the session.
  • Recordings: demo portions are recorded and shared; we pause recording during attendee Q&A that shows personal match data.
  • Schedule: sessions alternate between daytime and evening (US Eastern) so international attendees can find a workable slot.

The session rotation

Sessions rotate through the Academy curriculum, so within a few weeks every part of the course comes around live. Join the one that matches where you are — or all of them.

4. Power Tools & Gold Lesson 7 & Lesson 8 have the basics down and want the advanced toolkit

Frequently asked

Do I need my data ready? No — you can just watch. But if you've done Lessons 1–2, you'll get more out of it, and for Q&A it helps to have the Client open.

Is it really free? Yes — office hours are included with every subscription, and anyone considering DNAGedcom is welcome to sit in.

What if I can't make it live? Register anyway — demo recordings are shared with registrants. And the Academy lessons cover the same material at your own pace.

Can I get help with my specific research problem? That's what the Q&A half is for. Adoptee and unknown-parentage searches welcome — that work is where DNAGedcom came from. You can also email support@dnagedcom.com anytime.
